Integrated Mining Infrastructure in Simandou, Guinea
Vieney advised an international participant in Simandou as the project marked the start of operations in November 2025. The mandate concerned the client’s commercial position within the shared rail and port arrangements. Vieney examined the client’s dependence on that infrastructure and the governance surrounding access. A senior adviser led the work and prepared the client for engagement with relevant counterparties. Simandou combines iron ore production with more than 600 kilometres of trans-Guinean rail and associated port facilities.
